Name: Fili
Canon: Tolkien: The Hobbit Movies
Pull-point:
His death during the events of the Battle of the Five Armies.
Power Opt-in post link: N/A
Content Opt-out post link: N/A
Age: 82 in canon | Looks to be in his early-mid twenties.
Gender/Sex: Male
Appearance: Pictured here on the left. He's slightly shorter than his brother, making him a bit more of the normal dwarf height. His beard isn't quite as full as the others in the company but he's working on it, okay? And while he's not quite as unnaturally handsome as his brother, he has good looks all his own.
History:
Most of his history is similar to that of what it was in the book:
+Raised in the Blue Mountains
+Joins the quest to reclaim Erebor alongside his brother.
+Captured in Mirkwood and held in the dungeons alongside the rest of the company.
+Takes part in the Battle of Five Armies and is killed during said battle protecting his uncle alongside Kili.
The major differences are as follows:
-Fili defies Thorin's command and stays behind with the injured Kili in Laketown since his uncle would not allow his younger brother to go with them to reclaim the mountain.
-Is attack by Bolg and his small force in Laketown.
-Is in Laketown when Smaug attacks and manages to escape alongside Kili, Oin, Bofur, Tauriel and Bard's children.
-Instead of dying while protecting his uncle, he is killed by Azog when the orc impales him on his sword at the top of Ravenhill then drops him onto the rocks below.
Personality:
Fili is very reserved in nature. He tends to listen more than speak in conversations and when he does add in his opinion, it's generally very thought out and sometimes results in him pointing out something that might have been missed. There doesn't seem to ever be much pointless chatter from him.
He's still young and, as such, he does have a mischievous streak just like his brother. His generally serious nature seems to make it easy for him to convince others to do things to play into their pranks, most not seeming to expect the older, quieter brother to be up to no good.
Fili is definitely a very protective individual, especially when it comes to his brother. He's constantly looking out for the younger dwarf and whenever his brother is in peril? The blonde is quick to panic and focus all his attention on making sure Kili is alright.
Like most dwarves, Fili can be quite fierce in battle, more than ready to throw himself head first into a fight if need be. He seems to be at his best when he's fighting alongside his brother, the pair working quite well together in a fight, complimenting one another in ways others don't.
Despite his loyalty to his kin, the blonde is not against standing up for what he believes in even if it goes against the orders of his own uncle. His moral compass is a rather strong one and he's nowhere near as rash as his uncle is when it comes to decision making. Fili is also not above asking for help from others when the circumstances call for it.
Abilities:
+Extremely skilled at using various types of swords and knives.
+A natural leader
+Very diplomatic when he wants to be.
+Knowledge of both Khuzdul and Westron
+Basic survival skills of the outdoorsman type
Inventory:
+Several small daggers that were on his person at the time of his death
Anything else: Nothing!
